Selecting the drive to update

When your computer has more than one My Book or My Passport drive attached, you must specify the one you want to update. In addition, verify that the update version of the firmware is a newer (higher) version than the version currently installed on your drive.

To select the drive to update:

1. Select the drive you want to update in the Select Drive to Update box.
2. Verify that the update version of the drive firmware is newer than the version currently installed on your drive.
3. Click Update Firmware to continue.
